SIMAI Launches 14.12MWh BESS Project in Brașov, Romania

SIMAI Technology has officially launched a 14.12MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Brașov, Romania. The project marks another important milestone in SIMAI’s continued expansion in the European energy storage market.

Following the successful completion of the contract signing, the project has now entered the equipment delivery phase. The BESS system will be deployed to enhance grid flexibility, improve overall energy efficiency, and support the growing integration of renewable energy in the region.

As the energy transition accelerates across Europe, energy storage systems are playing an increasingly important role in stabilizing power grids and enabling higher penetration of renewable generation. The implementation of this project will contribute to the development of a more resilient and sustainable energy infrastructure in Romania.
